I have been volunteering for WHALE Arts Agency in Wester Hailes, Edinburgh. Working under Edinburgh based professional photographer Alicia Bruce, I helped out with the young persons community photography group Westside Snappers! The participants displayed astounding creativity and complete freedom of expression when learning old and new conventions in the medium, producing uncountable fabulous pictures. Works of their choice were professionally displayed in a well attended exhibition, and they took home books as a memento!

These are my first attempts at prinitng, the old school way! I recently undertook two short courses at Edinburgh Printmakers in Feb, and here's the result. The first one is a Screeprint and the second a Photo-etching.

Sadly, I've just completed my volunteering at the Sierra Metro Gallery in Granton, North Edinburgh. This gallery focuses on showcasing up and coming artists and encourages them to make new work for the space, providing a challenge for the artist and an interest for the visitors. It has been a wonderful experience, thank you to everyone for the opportunity!
